Today marks a year since our last trip to Kuala Lumpur, crazy how time flies! I swear it was just a month ago! Anyway, it was supposed to be SyaZaNa’s vacation together, but Teetee had to last minutely cancel the trip due to work matters (you owe us a trip to Japan now, Teetee) so it was just me, Bubi and her mum. It was my second trip to KL since I was 4 or 5, so I was all pumped up while praying that my pocket money’s going to be sufficient to quench my shopping thirst…it wasn’t enough, guys hahaha *cries*
Got the window seat, WOOHOO!!!
I couldn’t stop smiling during the take off, I think I’m in love with the thrill and people probably thought I was crazy. But please la, let this girl have her sakai moment, it has been 14 years guys.
View from our hotel. The moment I realised that I’m in love with this city.
Arrived at the Cititel Hotel around two, all tired and worn out from the flight and more than an hour road trip from the airport to the hotel. Our hotel was literally above Midvalley guys!! I didn’t actually know that there was heaven below us, so we went straight down after unpacking. Bubi being all familiar with the place already lead the way. It was only Midvalley and I already went all nuts. I think my wallet was glad that she’s a Bruneian or else she’d be an anorexic, thanks to her owner.
Meet Bubi, my date in KL for 4 days hehe
Yours truly, enjoying her first ever Baskin Robbins (sian, I know)
We didn’t really splurge that much on that day, more into window shopping to be honest. The place was darn huge my legs almost got disconnected from my abdomen. But one thing that I remember for sure: we ate, a lot, hehe.
*DROOLS* BULGOGI. Ironically had my first ever korean meal in Malaysia..let’s just hope that I won’t have any malaysian food as my first meal in Korea in the future bahah. The place was nice, though I’ve already forgotten the name hehe. But the service was tiptop and the dishes were divine! Would definitely be the first restaurant that I’ll search and go the next time around. Missing the juicy meat already *winks*
View at night..soooooo in love.
I’m sorry but I’m honestly obsessed. KL early in the morning <3
Went to KLCC the next day, didn’t get to take pictures of the Petronas twin towers as we were in a rush to meet Bubi’s mum’s best friend. But we definitely lost our minds there, especially in Sephora *wipes tears*
Two girls one cup…..HAHAHA. Get the zamzam water for me, now.
Some pictures that we managed to snap before losing our minds (last pic silahau mode already)
Bubi’s mum’s best friend was kind enough to send us back to our hotel, so we went down to the basement car park and we were lost for almost an hour ’cause he forgot where his car was HAHA. I don’t blame him though, the place was huge, I don’t know how many levels of car parks available for costumers (they even have parkings strictly for ladies only..wew #girlpower). Found his Mercedes almost an hour after that with us already dragging our legs behind and got to explore KL in it teehee
This would be perfect for blackmailing purpose
Oh shoot, busted.
While the two adults were busy catching up, we kiddos were busy singing along to “Let It Go” at the back. Blame the radio station, guys. Who plays Disney songs on a rainy day?? Nevertheless, had fun bursting our tummies out while wishing TeeTee were there with us.
Shameless, anything for VS.
Need this in my room!!!!!
Sigh sit down and we’ll have the real one alright Bub.
Had our second dinner at Magnum cafe hehe. It was a bliss! The service was excellent, this one waiter was really friendly and funny (he jokingly hid behind the menu book when we called him, so cute haha) and ahhh would you just look at that peanut butter cookie dough topped with two mini white magnum tho. Also had chicken wings but I couldn’t find any pictures of it but yes please come along and drool with me *passes tissue*
I can’t really remember whether it was before or after we had dinner at Magnum Cafe but we found a shop that sells 18+ stuff..HAHAHA. No worries it was closed, I was safe! You can’t really believe in Bubi, her first impression was “alaa” when we found out it was closed. Wew so close, apparently God still loves me..I should sembahyang syukur later.
Anyway guys, I decided to split this post into two, this one is already too long for me haha. Will continue the other two days in the next post, insyaAllah. For now, let me scroll down and recap every pictures of our vacation…and maybe weep, a bit, just a bit.
