Okay let’s be honest here guys, I’m not totally a morning person. If it wasn’t because of uni I wouldn’t even be bothered to wake up as early as 6 a.m (I wake up for Fajr of course, don’t wanna make God mad haha) so Fridays and Sundays are like my mini vacation in bed where I can wake up at 10 a.m or later hehe #sorryfuturehusband
So naturally, when my law fam decided to go to “Bandarku Ceria” (it’s a Bruneian thing where we can go as early as 5a.m to BSB just to cycle/jog/doing healthy stuff I’m not a pro on this) I gulped. Oh man, means I’ve to wake up early. Also, what the heck do you wear to Bandarku Ceria??? I definitely won’t do sport #duhh and there are loads of people, I don’t want to look like a trash nor I want to look too stylish. Sigh, being a girl is hard…HAHAHA. Anyway, I agreed because I’m clingy, plus why not right??? Though I had a hard time deciding on what to wear, I finally settled on my Hatta x Yuna cardigan after I managed to drag my butt off of my extra comfy bed.
This is..well…not actually my first time, but I’d like to consider it as my first because the (real) first time I went to Bandarku Ceria, I was only walking by to take some cash out and it was also because of school work too, where we mainly focused on Tamu Kianggeh instead. So this was my first time kay! Honestly, I was really excited though I had no idea what we were gonna do…except for eating :> So I went out as early as 6 a.m, wearing my favorite jeans (not recommended), Schmiley Mo top, Hatta x Yuna cardigan and with my fluff dUCk on my head. You’re right, guys, I was overdressed for this thing HAHAHA #duhh
After having to go to a longer route just to park near the padang and getting pissed ’cause the shorter road was being blocked, I settled my car at the parking behind the Lapau area. Ugh, even trying to park was stressing to me, this ceria thing is a scam. But I knew that my rage’s gonna subside after meeting my friends anyway so it’s okay hehe.
I was getting all insecure when nobody, literally nobody, was wearing any casual outfit at that time. Even my law fam were all wearing sport-ish clothes, this is what happens when food dominates your brain guys bahaha. So I had to bear with anyone who shot funny look at me that, which I sometimes stared them back bahaha. Leave me alone okay, sheeeesshh.
The first thing that we went to. I just call these bicycles, though it’s obviously not bahaha. So these bicycles have 2-4 seats, guys! So you can cycle along with your friend/boyfriend/husband while I judge you from afar and being bitter ’cause mine’s not here yet LOL. Anyway, we rented 2..becha..I don’t think it’s called becha but whatever I can name it anything. So 1 becha with 2 seats and another with 4 seats please! Teehee.
Obviously yours truly was the most excited here, though she doesn’t know how to cycle. But okay this becha is acceptable haha.
Just look at that sakai face omg -____-
I honestly didn’t expect it to be so TIRING. I almost died…it didn’t help when my friends decided to cycle beyond the traffic lights in front of Jubilee. WHAT WERE WE THINKING. Glad my legs didn’t hurt the next day though, but my butt and hips were raging so bad bahaha.
I wore the most heat-friendly dUCk I have in my closet and of course it’s the fluff! Hehe. I’m wearing the Hydrangea fluff, basically the only fluff that I own haha. Anyway, I LOVE how lightweight, fuss free, easy to style and soft this fabric is. I never own any cotton scarf as soft as this one, though some claimed that the material used is just the typical cotton fabric..but..I LOVE IT. I’m obsessed with it. I’m thinking of buying the neutral colors as my go-to uni scarf, but the price for this one is a bit expensive than the other premium basics. BND51-ish if I’m not mistaken, which makes me hesitate most of the time. I mean I love it, but maybe not now…you guys get me? haha. It also stays through out the day despite me being all wild and hyper heheh, so it’s a plus there. I’m not sure on D’s claim about this fluff being pin-mark free no matter how many times you stab it with your pins lol, but I still get few pin marks though..or maybe I was just being too rough *cries blood* Oh, it’s a semi-sheer scarf by the way so if you’re not a fan of sheer scarf, this isn’t for you…but it’s worth the try though! You can see your inner’s charm cutely peeking through when you wear fluff :> If you love peach skin (who misses peach skin?? I DO.) you’d definitely love fluff!
We cycled back to padang and after buying some food and rested a bit, I of course had to drag my friend to play this giant bubble thing hehehe. It was such a beautiful view, as you guys can see the SOAS mosque and the green field. Ahh worth the early wake up…
I also posted one of the photos and didn’t expect to get a repost from D! My 3rd picture getting reposted and the thrill was still the same HEHE (when you thought your favorite brand has forget about you ’cause the last picture she reposted was a year ago bahaha #over) Thank you so much D!!! <3 Credits to Kimster for taking the photo hehe <3
The heat was intense guys I almost pengsan, no kidding. My head was spinning after I was done playing and had to fight the urge to throw up, next week school reopen kay don’t screw up please lol. But no worries, I was fine again after sitting down and hydrating myself. Bandarku Ceria: not a recommended place to go for a date…though your date can romantically catch you if you faint, not until he’s all traumatized though bahaha.
Of course we went to eat after that, what is law fam without being fat together HEHE. I didn’t eat anything from ricebowl as I was already full from eating popia, but I did bought the coconut sheikh (it’s our inner joke) from the cube next door. Intense heat outside + coconut shake = PURE BLISS.
Meet my twin, guys. Of course she’s the prettier, slimmer, cuter and better version of me hehe (we even accidentally wore similar style that day!). But she’s taken, so sorry boys.
But I’m still available………………….you know…just saying……
I’m a loser.
Incomplete law fam but it’s okay, hopefully next time we’ll be complete insyaAllah hehe.
What is us without being extra af, loooove these crazy people so much <3
We decided to go home after that as it was almost 12p.m, bid good bye as if we won’t meet for a year pfffttt. Had to walk for a short distance to our cars and my legs were all wiggly already. Overall, it was such a good experience though! I doubt I’d ever go if it wasn’t because of them dragging my lazy a** there hahaha. So thank you so much guys for making my day!!! I of course slept the whole afternoon after that HAHAHA #weak
If you guys haven’t been there, you should! But please don’t wear jeans and something layered, that’s suicide guys haha. For sure next time I’ll just be the passenger of the legit becha though, have mercy on this kaki bangku. Also always stay hydrated guys, I almost gotten myself killed by the heat lol.
It was worth my Sunday morning though but for now you guys just have fun kay, I’ll go there again next year. HAHAHAHA.
