FV’s having their second pop-up store in Brunei and it is still happening right now until 31st of May y’all. I’ve told you guys about this here but if you didn’t know, now you know haha. You can also go cashless there and just swipe your BIBD debit or credit card, where you’ll get 5% off for debit users and 10% off for credit card users. The deal, is real!
Of course I went there on the first day #duhh hehe. I thought the pop-up store was only open for public at 5p.m but then I saw BIBD posted a picture saying that BIBD card holders can enter the pop-up store from 10a.m-5p.m, just show them your BIBD debit or credit card. You know what time did I saw that picture?
I could’ve gone to the Empire right after I woke up ish.
But anyway me and Boss Chick went there around 4p.m, all ready to shove my money for Fiziwoo. FV’s theme is balik kampong this year, which is suuuper cute guys. They even have tote bags with the illustrations printed on it
I like the one with Vivy and Fadza riding a motorcycle one, it’s so cute!!!
Back in the days where abang DHL still cycling to send your parcels to your house bahaha
Anyway I immediately searched for Fiziwoo and I kid you not, there are more clothes being offered this time than last time..I think..or was it because the arrangements were different…but I swear I have so many favorites this time around. But no, I’ve to get my Fiziwoo first then I can splurge on other brands.
The closest I could get in meeting Daniel and Mariam bahaha
Just look at it, beauties. Ugh.
But sadly the collection is not complete yet so the design that I want is not yet available. They’re going to release it online tomorrow though but I don’t know if I should get it online or straight from the Empire Hotel…hmm…we’ll see. But I’M EXCITED!!! I need to sort out my raya kurung asap ’cause June and July are gonna be very busy months for me as my 3rd semester have started. I just need 1 or 2 outfits and I’ll be fine, I might sit for my exams during Syawal so that’s why I’m not going crazy this time around. Ok debit card, you can stop shivering now hahaha.
You guys can see that Fiziwoo got its own rack in the middle of the pathway (in front of it was Biyan..omg I can already remember the “map” of the place though I only went there twice LOL) so the attention that it got was overwhelming…for me…’cause I’m karit HAHAHA jokes!!! But really, watching people’s reaction over the masterpieces..I feel proud honestly. Also, it’s time for me to wear these “over the top” kurungs normally without getting criticized and all, girl needs to live her life peacefully thank you very much.
Arared (already available on FV.com)
Love To Dress (also available on FV.com)
Aere, available on FV’s website too. This brand’s one of the best-seller there, it was mostly sold out by that time and the store was not even open for public yet! I had to bid my Aurel ruffle top goodbye :<
For kids are also available! This one is Pokoks Kids, if I’m not mistaken :>
We walked around and found so many beautiful dresses, kurungs and scarves from Tudung People, until we were at Laguna Sydney’s rack I saw this man casually walking and checking stuff as if he was not the big boss there.
“Oh. My. God. That’s Fadza!!!”
This is it, my only chance. He looked chill and all so I was like, why the heck not right?? I’m usually very awkward with dudes, but I told myself that he’s not any dude and I’m not trying to flirt anyway, don’t wanna get black-listed from shopping through FV LOL. So I dragged mom and I almost lose him ’cause he walk sooo fast guys, I only got to approach him when he was standing near the shoes and handbags section.
I was breathless, no kidding. I couldn’t even control my voice at that time I think I startled an auntie that was peacefully checking on the clothes. Fadza noticed me and smiled, I swear guys if you don’t know FV much you’d think that he’s just a random worker who you call upon for help to check on the size availability of the clothes that you want. FV tee and all, not like those CEO wearing suits and tie in movies hahaha. Even the auntie that I accidentally startled gave me a nasty look, probably thinking that I was trying to flirt with Fadza (over Vivy’s dead body, auntie *shows white flag*)
“Can I take a picture with you?”
Sorry my scarf senget, I had a running competition before taking this picture LOL. I don’t know how to start a conversation with a guy so I just say thank you after that #loser. But YAAAY finally a picture with a person that inspires a lot of people, name it from businessmen/women to people generally! Also, the halal gap was real bahaha #phew #stillcanshopfromFV
I thought he was attending the tea-party happening just outside the ballroom but there he was. If he’s not a good example of a leader then I don’t know what’s your definition of leader is.
Anyway me and mom went out of the ballroom with empty hands, but in my case with a full heart hehe. The tea-party has ended the moment we stepped outside the ballroom
And we found this cool designers wall!
Boss Chick in action y’all
Found my fav duo! <3
Raja Sabrina looking stunning as ever
Asma’ from Love To Dress (and also my favorite blogger and vlogger!) and you can see my reflection there sorry lol!
Wearing my Fiziwoo Muruku top from their Raya Is For Everyone collection, I just tucked it in hehe. Paired it with my most favorite (and already beaten to death because I wore it A LOT) KL dUCk <3
Didn’t get anything during the first day but that’s alright because I’ve until 31st May to splurge hehehe
So I came back the next day because I’m a loser
I came back the next day because I wanted to meet Raja Sabrina! There was an announcement about the meet and greet with her on Aere’s instagram and I knew that I have to go. I was lucky enough because my class finished an hour early, so I went to Teetee’s house to change clothes and wear some makeup. Of course, I dragged Teetee’s a** along duhh teehee
We arrived at Empire around 12p.m, I was all fidgeting and my heart beat so loud. There weren’t much of people there and the place was kind of chill. We walked straight to Aere’s rack and there she was, talking with a lady at the coffee table in the centre of the room.
Guys I’ve never seen someone so soft and elegant before. We walked to the area and a lady gave us a card and leaflet with pictures of Aere’s Eid’17 collection, Life. When Raja Sabrina was done talking with the lady, she greeted me. We shook hands, guys.
She. Touched. My. Hand.
Ajeeratul was there too at that time and she told Raja Sabrina that I always wear Aere based on my IG posts. I got a bit shy and fluttered, because it is honestly true HAHA I wear my Levana and Dea top a lot, there’s just something about Aere that makes me feel stylish yet comfortable at the same time, I love that quality in Aere the most!
The most adorable moment is when Raja Sabrina reacted to me wearing my Levana at that time. She was sooo excited guys I kid you not, all I did was wearing one of the two pieces of Aere that I have in my wardrobe. I asked her if we can took a picture together and of course she said yes hehe <3
It was surreal. She was so tall and slim, I’ve never felt so small and ugly before haha. I love love love the way she talks, her voice and the way she speak was so soft and very careful. I was so starstruck. I don’t think there’s any proper way to express how beautiful she is in real life guys, you have to meet her personally then you’d know.
We had a little chat where I mostly asked her how she came up with such designs and versatilities in her clothing. She replied to my question and said that she wanted to create clothes that she would want to wear everyday. As for the Raya collection, she told me that she doesn’t sell her pieces in sets because she wants her customers to use their own creativity and style by mix and match. She also said that she designed the clothes that can be worn not only during the festive season, but also anytime around the year. How can you not love that idea?
I also asked her about Brunei, about her first impression of this country as it was her very first time setting her foot here. She said that she likes how calm Brunei is, the tranquility because no traffic jams and all, and also said that the view of the Empire Hotel’s beach is amazing! (I find this very cute hehe)
She also told me that she did not expect her clothes to be mostly sold out within a day, I kid you not the Aere rack was almost empty guys! I thought that there was going to be a styling session but by looking at the clothes that were left hanging there, I don’t think it was possible haha. But it’s okay, talking to her was more than enough. I got to ask her questions and all, got to shake hands with her and take pictures while half-hugging each other. Ahh~~
I’m still starstruck up until now. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity <3
Anyway we bid goodbye after I thanked her, and this time around it was Teetee’s time to shine. She went straight to the Schmiley Mo’s rack just beside Aere and snatched the top that she had been eyeing. I kid you not guys we were just few steps entering the ballroom and she already gasped out loud over this mannequin wearing a Schmiley Mo set. And I thought I was the weakest of all, apparently not HEHE *blows nails*
She also grabbed a Schmiley Mo skirt and dragged me to the fitting room. I had to wait for her outside the fitting room though and when she was finished with her business she went all “I’m taking these.” Literally could here the dot there HAHA. Oh God how easy it was to lure this woman, I didn’t even have to try :>
We walked around some more until we found this aesthetic clothes (forgot the brand’s name, but it was the same row as Sapto Djojokartiko) and Teetee went nuts, guys. I’m not joking. She found the top first then I found a matching pants to go along with it. The pants are gorgeous! Love the pleated details sooo much ugh. And the next thing that I remember is that she’s asking for new top AND pants from the worker HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
She ended up spending $150 there and I still came out empty handed, but I had a good laugh HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I mean, what are bff for right Teetee? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Anyway, I bumped into Ajeeratul again guys and I finally got to take a picture with her!
She doesn’t look like she already popped two kids out, so youthful and beautiful. I need to gather her and Vivy for a briefing on how to stay slaying if I were to be a mother in the future hahaha. It was so nice to have a little chat with one of Brunei’s own influencers, she was super friendly too guys! Y’all should check her instagram out, her pictures are goals and her posing games are unbeatable!
I love how I’ve amazing stories to tell you guys every time FV held a pop-up store here in Brunei, makes me wonder what the future FV pop-up store have in store for me hehe. I also met Dada, Jaja and Veendee guys! But didn’t took pictures with them as they looked very busy. I think it was Dada at the cashier…or Jaja….I’m still confused HAHA but both of them are equally stunning! And super tall too I seriously want their legs ugh.
If you haven’t been to the FV pop-up store…where and what have you been doing??? Drag yourself there, it’s totally worth it no kidding. Even just coming by to window shop, release that tension girl! I might be coming back again later on to check on Fiziwoo, so hope to see you there! No worries, I’m already praying for your debit/credit card ;>
